Scobel is one of the few science talk shows on German-speaking television. Every week, the programme takes an in-depth look at the issues of our time – always from a scientific perspective, always interdisciplinary.
I am part of the editorial team and work, among other things, as a writer and director for the up to five-minute pre-produced segments in the programme. These are often reports, explanatory films or research pieces. What makes them special: Scobel looks deeper into the details of the topics and does not shy away from complex contexts – always prepared for an interested non-professional audience.
Scobel is broadcast almost every Thursday at 9 pm on 3sat in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
